Review and approve technical drawings
Validate modifications
Raise and implement projects to improve layout and pedestrian improvements and issue PIR’s and orders
Conduct technical review of recaps ensuring accomplishment of Ford Engineering Spec and local regulations
Review and approve new technologies, materials and components.
Review new installations in new programs participating in launch team reviews
Coordinate and support of vendor installations in plant
Minimum Requirements:
Education:Bachelor's Degree (Mechanic, industrial, maintenance)
Experience:
Must possess the ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly through route cause analysis and drive change back to the production departments. Must have the necessary skill set to have job placement flexibility and the expectation to rotate to various positions within the plant such as Production or Quality
Advanced knowledge refrigerant Pipelining
Must display strong customer orientation with a commitment to upholding plant processes through strict adherence to the Quality Operating System. Must demonstrate the ability to execute to achieve results, while organizing and managing multiple priorities
Must have a proven willingness to take a participatory approach to union relations and be a team player
Must have the ability to serve as a strong and confident technical mentor to the production organization (both hourly and salary)
Must have strong written and verbal communications skills
Successful candidate must be able to demonstrate leadership in ONE FORD (leadership) behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills
Preferred Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, mechanic or maintenance
Experience: 3-5 years’ experience
MODAPTS Certification
GSPAS knowledge
