We currently have positions available for experienced Seniors in our PAS Global Mobility Tax sub-practice in our Mexico City, Queretaro and Monterrey offices. As a PAS Global Mobility Tax Staff Intern you will be learning about and helping deliver a full range of expatriate services for multiple clients within EY. Responsibilities include interacting closely with clients to provide innovative expatriate tax planning, consulting, and compliance expertise; preparing individual Mexican income tax returns; and working closely with partners, managers, and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities

Responsibilities

•  Establish/maintain long-term collaborative relationships with our clients and internal colleagues. 
• Possess and increase their understanding of expatriate tax issues. 
• Coordinate and deliver accurate quality tax returns for assignees in different locations throughout Mexico and coordinate worldwide foreign tax filings as appropriate.
• Prepare/review international assignment-related calculations such as tax cost projections, tax equalization calculations, hypothetical tax calculations, etc. 
• Conduct research on various topics such as technical or treaty interpretation/application, regulatory issues, and payroll matters. Prepare the related communications for the client. 
• ·Develop and supervise the staff's technical skills, client service skills and engagement management skills, including providing input in performance discussions.
•    Provide day-to-day support in all aspects of global immigration relating to corporate client accounts, including inputting data, creating files and status report, drafting visa applications and other documentation to liaising with clients and Government departments. 

To qualify, candidates must have:

• Two to four years previous experience, preferably in another Big 4 professional services firm
• Fluency in English and/or German
• Bachelor's degree and approximately 2 years of related work experience; or a graduate degree and approximately 1-2 years of related work experience
• Knowledge of current automated tax processing systems and tax laws within an area of technical specialization
• Knowledge of immigration processes, preferably with some work experience
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
