· Lead projects for WU and its suppliers; ensuring efficient communication, engagement and execution from team members and stakeholders, focused on meeting sponsors’ requirements in terms of scope, budget, quality and time. Coordination includes research, analysis, documentation, testing, problem resolution, training and post-rollout reviews.
Job Description
As a Project Leader the functions will be:
- Plan in detail project assigned
- Build project teams
- Assign project tasks
- Ensure correct communication among project team members
- Identify Stakeholders
- Report project status to Sponsor and Key Stake holders
- Ensure correct communication to Sponsor, Stakeholders and Project Management
- Follow up on project tasks so those are performed by the project team on scope, time and budget
- Monitor, control and communicate project changes and challenges
- Ensure smooth project executions
- Monitor and control goals (in case of migrations)
- Monitor and control post-rollout actions.
- Close projects delivering lessons learned
Project Leader skills
- Degree on Business Administration or equivalent
- Fully Bilingual English-Spanish
- Self-driven
- Able to work under low or minimum supervision
- Proactive
- Highly tolerant to frustration
- Able to work under pressure
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Risk escalation and follow up on resolutions
- Problem Solving
